Today was the day to catch up on "chores". Carolee did the laundry while I cleaned "house" and Merrell and Chuck went to the airport and picked up Howard. He got in right after noon. We've just been sitting around and trying to decide where we are going and when. This is the week for the Alaska State Fair and it's at Palmer, which is about 40 miles from here.
We all really want to see Denali, so we are trying to decide how we want to go. They have a scenic train trip to the entrance to Denali and then we can take a tour through Denali and stay overnight there. We would come back here to Anchorage via a sightseeing motorcoach, I think. It's all up in the air right now. I think I'll be Scarlett O'Hara and think about it tomorrow. :>)
